Grupo EP works with two types of sieves, they are:<\/p><p><strong>Static Sieve<\/strong> is a device that does not have mechanical movement and is used to separate particles of different sizes using a screen or mesh. This sieve is generally composed of a static box that contains the screen or mesh, and an upper cover that allows the entry of material. The liquid suspension is placed in the box, and the larger particles are retained on the screen or mesh, while the smaller particles pass through it.<\/p><p>A <strong>rotary sieve <\/strong>is a device that has mechanical movement and is used to separate particles of different sizes using rotary movement. This sieve usually consists of a cylindrical chamber that contains a screen or mesh, and an upper lid that allows material to enter. The liquid suspension is placed in the chamber, and as it rotates, the larger particles are retained on the screen or mesh, while the smaller particles pass through it.<\/p><p>Rotary screens are generally used in applications that require high processing capacity, such as water and sewage treatment, food industry, mining and chemical industry, as they can process large volumes of material.
