The Challenge: The Vulnerability of the Biological System<\/b><\/h4>

At the <\/span>Monin<\/b>As a global reference in syrups and flavors, the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) is a critical asset. The heart of this system is the <\/span>microbiota<\/b> – living organisms that treat the waste and depend directly on the constant oxygenation provided by the <\/span>Air Blowers<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>

An undetected breakdown in this equipment can lead to a total collapse of the biological system within a few hours. The consequences are drastic: weeks of low production, extremely high recovery costs and the risk of environmental sanctions. <\/span><\/p>

The Solution: Intelligent Monitoring and Real-Time Alerts<\/b><\/h4>

To mitigate this risk, Monin implemented the <\/span>STEP<\/b>. Through intelligent sensors and constant monitoring, the system now supervises the blowers’ operational health 24 hours a day.<\/span><\/p>

The Critical Event:<\/b> During an operational failure, both air blowers stopped simultaneously. At the same moment, the STEP: <\/span><\/p>

  1. It detected the anomaly via telemetry.<\/span><\/li>
  2. Generated an <\/span>automatic alert<\/b> for the maintenance team.<\/span><\/li>
  3. It allowed the technical team to work on the restoration within a few hours, preventing the death of the microorganisms in the WWTP.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
