[&#8230;] The project also includes   <\/span><\/i><b><i>systematic methodology<\/i><\/b><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">with physicochemical characterization, laboratory and pilot scale tests, and validation under real conditions, proves the R&amp;D character.&#8221; &#8211; says the MCTI opinion document<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The technical opinion highlights very important points about the EP&#8217;s scientific performance:<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>1. Technological complexity<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The MCTI pointed out that the company&#8217;s projects dealt with complex environmental challenges, including:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">diversity and variability of effluent matrices;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">strict legal limits;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">lack of standardized solutions on the market.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">These factors required <\/span><b>acquiring new knowledge<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">technological uncertainties and the creation of new approaches.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>2. Innovation through customized technological routes<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to the opinion, EP has developed its own technological routes, combining known processes in an innovative way for each type of effluent:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>new technology<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">,<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>application of science<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">,<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>real experimental development<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">,<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">e <\/span><b>effective character of the IDP<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><b>3.
