EP was recognized by Heineken, Passos unit (MG), with the award for the Greatest Heatmap Evolution in Occupational Health and Safety.
This recognition is the result of the EP team’s daily commitment to excellence in Occupational Safety, demonstrating significant progress in the OSH indicators monitored by the unit’s heatmap tool.
What is a heatmap?
A heatmap is a visual representation of data that uses colors to indicate the frequency or intensity of a particular event or phenomenon. In occupational safety, this metric is used to map safety performance in operational areas.
In this case, EP stood out with the tool for significant improvements in risk management, safe behavior and compliance with the requirements established by Heineken.
Collective team effort
This achievement was only possible thanks to the joint efforts of the safety technicians (Lucas Zanusso, Melissa Silva and Paulo Régis), operational leaders (Francisco Filho and Fábio Medeiros ‘SOMA’) and employees (EP and SOMA) who, with commitment and responsibility, have been transforming the workplace into an increasingly safe and healthy space.
The award reinforces EP’s commitment to safety as a non-negotiable value and inspires the maintenance and expansion of good practices in future cycles.
EP and Heineken
EP’s current work at Heineken involves assembling and commissioning treatment plants at the brewery’s new plant. brewery in the greenfield model in Passos, Minas Gerais. It is responsible for the installation of three plants: WTP (Water Treatment Plant), WRP (Water Reclamation Plant) and WWTP (Wastwater Treatment Plant), which in Portuguese would be the better known ETA (Water Treatment Plant), ERA (Water Recovery Plant) and ETE (Effluent Treatment Plant).
Work is progressing quickly and with great quality control, since these facilities will produce water to be incorporated into beer production.
Implementation of ETEs and ETAs with EP Engineering
EP has a complete, multidisciplinary in-house Engineering Projects team made up of highly qualified engineers (environmental, civil, chemical, production), designers and planners with many years of experience in the market. All supported by state-of-the-art software and an integrated project management system that makes it possible to work collaboratively and efficiently.
Each process is carefully studied and developed by our Research, Development and Innovation (RD&I) laboratoryin such a way that we are perfectly aware of the factors and physical-chemical conditions that influence the achievement of the treatment objective.
